This approach empowers you to identify your needs, foster sustainable coping skills, expand perspectives, and feel seen, connected and grounded in moving forward in your goals. Our shared time together will leave you with a sense of encouragement, clarity, and deeper self-compassion.
what fuels my passion for this work?
I’ve been passionate about "helping the helpers" from a young age which led me towards a career over 15 years supporting people from 50+ countries in a variety of settings including international humanitarian work, labor/delivery/postpartum care, community based mental health support, and employee assistance programs. Caregivers have many forms, names, roles, and may have a tough time taking care of ourselves. I believe you deserve the same compassion, attention, and grace you give out to others.
what is the training and expertise that informs my work?
I have a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Maryland in Baltimore and am a licensed clinical social worker. I use a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach, and have advanced training in motivational interviewing, resilience, grief and loss, perinatal mental health, and nature-informed therapy.
i can work with clients who live in:
